House Rules
By booking the accommodation and services provided by Silverdown you agree to abide by all the rules, terms and conditions both on our website Silverdown.com.au and in this document. At Silverdown we strive to provide high-quality accommodation and facilities. In order to maintain that quality please treat the property with respect and ensure that it is in a clean and tidy condition on departure.
Children & Beds
We endeavour to provide a relaxed environment for our guests to enjoy Silverdown. For this reason the following applies: – No infants unless you are booking the whole house If you are booking the Guest House, the following applies: – 2 people per room maximum – Extra beds are not available – Infants 0 to 2 years can stay in the same King room with parents. One crib only
House Policy
At Silverdown we like to ensure that every guest has a safe, enjoyable and relaxing experience. Often your stay will be shared with other guests. In order to ensure every person has an enjoyable stay we ask all guests to: – Keep noise to a minimum – Respect other guests right to use equipment – Clean up facilities after use – Take unused food and drink with you on departure – On departure place dirty dishes in dishwasher and turn it on – Between 10pm and 8.00am no unnecessary noise
Equipment & Furnishings
Any missing items, repairs or additional cleaning required due to damage, spillage, stains or marks caused by any guests or visitors, will incur an extra fee which will be charged to your card.
NOT PERMITTED AT SILVERDOWN GUESTHOUSE
- NO SMOKING IS PERMITTED – Silverdown and its immediate surrounds is a non-smoking property
- NO PETS ARE PERMITTED – Although we understand pets are often part of the family you will have to check them into your local pooch motel before coming to visit us.
NOTE:
If found in breach of any of the house rules will result in the cost of cleaning and deodorising the rooms or affected areas being charged to your card. Thank you in advance.
Personal Property & Vehicles
The Guest acknowledges that Silverdown, or any person acting on its behalf, shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to any property, including vehicles and their contents, brought onto the site by them and the Guest agrees that they will make no claim for any such loss or damage no matter how arising. The Guest agrees to keep Silverdown locked and secure at all times.
Parking
- There is free parking inside the property.
Breach of Terms and Conditions
You agree that you, your guests or friends, breach any of the terms and conditions: You will pay to us the total loss or damage that we suffer as a result of that breach and hereby authorise us to debit your credit card in payment of that loss or damage and we may evict you and your guests or friends without notice. Making a Booking, payment of Deposit or Full Payment constitutes Acceptance of these House Rules, Terms and Conditions. The House Rules, Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice.
Kitchen
- Load and turn on the dishwasher on departure.
- Leave rubbish outside the front door.
- Clean the kitchen and all appliances and leave them as you found them.
- Extra cleaning fees apply if premises and equipment are left dirty.
Lights & Heating/Cooling Equipment
- Lights should be turned off when leaving the room.
- Heating, cooling and exhaust fans should be used only when the room is occupied.
Keys
- Keys to be returned as directed by the owner.
- Lost or damaged keys will be charged to the Guest’s card at $12.00 per key.
Liabilities
You acknowledge that we do not accept liability for any injury, damage, loss, additional expenses or disruptions due to acts of God caused directly or indirectly from events, which are beyond our control and agree not to make a claim in relation thereto.

Transportation
We offer our guests transport to restaurants and wineries when it is convenient for both parties. This service is provided on the condition that Silverdown or any person acting on its behalf shall not be liable in any way for any loss or injury howsoever suffered by any person to whom this service is provided.
